Our business La Chaiseronne

La Chaiseronne, founded at la Chaise Baudouin in 1980, is a butcher’s business based at Brécey, southern Manche in the heart of a lush Normandy lowland, famed for its livestock breeding.

From the start, La Chaiseronne was a forerunner in offering consumers complete transparency by providing the name of the breeder and the animal’s identity. Thanks to our growing business we now employ 25 staff producing a turnover of €3.2 million.

We produce meat products from beef, pork and lamb.

The aim of our business is the practical and intelligent development of quality products which respect:

And that all are properly rewarded for their efforts in developing environmental awareness.

Raw meat, ready to cook

La Chaiseronne prepares its meat in the best tradition of a local butcher.
Meat is de-boned, trimmed and any gristle removed before each item is cut and individually dressed.
